Introducing our Director of Art
Brian Rekruciak is a seasoned creative professional with a diverse background in music production, design, and product development. With a passion for synthesizers and electronic music, Brian has honed his expertise across multiple disciplines, from playing in punk bands during his high school years to building intricate Eurorack modular systems for home recording. His journey into the world of synthesizers began with a MicroKorg in college, which sparked an ongoing pursuit to build more complex and personalized systems for sound creation.
In addition to his musical talents, Brian is a skilled graphic designer and illustrator, specializing in high-quality visual design and digital media. He currently leads the graphical direction at MEGA Modular Corp, where he is responsible for executing the corporate vision through panel graphics, 3D renderings. Brian also contributes significantly to the production process thanks to a rich history in product development, ensuring both the creative and technical aspects of MEGA’s products are aligned with industry standards and consumer expectations.
Brian's journey into content creation on YouTube began with a unique logic trick involving “Pamela’s New Workout” in Eurorack systems. This video, which quickly gained traction, marked the beginning of his presence in the modular synth community. His channel now serves as a valuable resource for fellow creators, offering insights and tutorials that help demystify complex techniques within the world of modular synthesis.
Beyond his work at MEGA Modular Corp, Brian is actively involved in a wide range of creative projects, including gigging as a musician, collaborating on design projects with other makers, and designing his own custom modules and blank panels. Additionally, he is in the process of developing a guitar pedal, further expanding his creative portfolio.
